EXPEDITION TO PARK OF MANU 8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS

This Package after our visit for Cusco and Machupicchu includes an National Park of Manu Expedition for 4 days / 3 Nights leaving from Cusco by bus and returning by plane with aprox. 45 minutes of flight, Manu Biosphere is situated in the remote southwestern region of the Amazonian Basin is the largest and definitely the only untouched reserve in the neotropics. This unique reserve covers an area of one million eight hundred thousand hectares of undisturbed and pristine forest with the greatest biodiversity on the earth, therefore it was declared by international Union for the Conservation of Nature in 1987 as world heritage site. Recommended for people with spirit of keeping of nature and adventure.
DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO CUSCO
Picking Up from Cusco Airport to the hotel. Free morning to
take a little rest and get the altitude.
Afternoon CITY TOUR time : 04 Hours (2Pm: 6Pm ).Guiding visit Main Square, Cathedral, Temple of Sun, and also the archeological remains around the city like Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
DAY 2 SACRED VALLEY
Aprox: 10 Hours (8am 6pm). Breakfast in the Hotel. Picking Up by bus from the Hotel to take the guide tour to SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS where we will see the little town of Pisaq and its typical handicraft market.
Then at noon Buffet lunch in Urubamba, then we continue with the tour to get the tourist center of Ollantaytambo where we are going to see important archeological remains. Coming back to Cusco by Chinchero, another tourist center.
DAY 3 MACHUPICCHU
Aprox:15 Hours (5Am 8Pm). Breakfast in the Hotel, Transfer Hotel / Train Station to take the road to get the little town named AGUAS CALIENTES, then take the tourist bus to get The Lost City of the Inkas MACHUPICCHU. In the Afternoon the return to Aguas Calientes, Lunch and then the coming back to Cusco by the same train. Transfer Train Station / Hotel.
DAY 4 NATIONAL PARK OF MANU NATIONAL PARK OF MANU EXPEDITION
Continental breakfast in the hotel, after it we leave form Cusco at 6.00 am in our comfortable bus. Ascending to the high mountain area of Paucartambo. On the way we visit the funeral towers or Chullpas of Ninamarca. The bus then descents through the mysterious cloud forest full of beautiful orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns. Stopping to give you and opportunity to witness Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola Peruviana) mating ritual. There are also possibilities to observe the Amazonian Umbrella bird (Cephalopteros Ornatus), trogons (Trogon sp) and many more. With luck the only South American bear, the spectacled bear (Tramarctos Ornatos). In the evening we arrive to the village of Pilcopata, where we stay in a typical lodge, showers and toilets available.
DAY 5
After an early but delicious breakfast, the
bus transfer the group to the port of Atalaya, the rest of the
day is spent traveling by boat on the Alto Madre de Dios river.
On the way you can see a variety of birdlife like herons, egrets,
kingfishers and the ever presents of vultures of which the most
spectaculars is the condor of the jungle, king vultures. In the
afternoon a short stop in the village of Boca Manu to have a
refreshing cold beverage. Later on the group arrives to the
campsite which is located very close to the famous Macaw Clay
Lick walks in the afternoon and a night walk to stop caimans in
the lake. Night camping on covered platforms. Showers and
toilets available.

DAY 6
Very early in the morning the group visit the
macaw clay lick . From a floating hide you can see how dozen and
even hundreds of parrots start to gather to eat the clay which
they need on their diet. After the parrots the brilliant and
colorful macaw starts to arrive squeaking loudly and
illuminating trees with their bright colors. In the afternoon
the group arrives to a lodge near Boca Manu. Walks to explore
some of the Manu trails in the area. Night in lodge. Showers and
toilets available.

DAY 7 FLlGHT COME BACK TO CUSCO
We wake us up an After a delicious breakfast we
unfortunately need to start our return and take the flight Boca
Manu Cusco ( 45 min.), then transfer to the hotel and you have
all day free in Cusco for some activities like visiting to the
handicraft markets, shopping discotheques etc.
DAY 8 END OF OUR SERVICES
Very early Continental Breakfast in the hotel, then transfer
to the Airport to take the flight of return.
